There's nothing I enjoy more than having something to do. Sounds like such a simple thing doesn't it? Well if you take the time to really think about it, it's not!

How many people get in from work each night and plonk down in front of the TV once they've done all their usual household bits & bobs? I include myself in this too, sitting watching TV is the nation's favourite pastime.

Whilst this is all very relaxing, well deserved and normal, I have long considered this a 'dead time'. Our brains are pretty well organised, they can easily perform multiple tasks at a time and they give you super cool creative and cranked up chemicals when we do something we enjoy. I'm not by any means saying stop watching TV, I couldn't cope without my Walking Dead, Homes Under The Hammer and Extreme Couponers! I want you to consider having a bash at something that will get your creative juices flowing whilst watching TV.

I feel bad for the people who don't have mini projects, the warm little happy feeling I get when I've discovered a new craft (you know, I despise the word craft but nothing else fits here, feel free to message me if you know an alternative) is addictive. Finding those new ideas, inspirations, skills and techniques is slightly harder, so here we have my Let's Try series.

My aim is to bring you mini (and sometimes not so mini) projects and ideas, stuff to work your mind and keep you busy. Maybe a weekend project, you're not limited to those TV hours you know!

Check back often to see what's new, if you join my  Cool Stuff Club you'll get this delivered straight to your inbox. Coolio or what?!
